I am not sure how people are giving 5 stars to this food truck!!! We ordered a take-out yesterday, and the food was horrible. If you are an Iraqi person, you will know this is definitely not an Iraqi food. Nothing tastes like Iraqi food. The Falafel Warp (we didn't eat the Falafel because it wasn't fried properly). The Falafel patty were under cooked and was very spicy and didn't taste like Iraqi Falafel. The Borak's filling it's accurately a Sambosa filling (which is very different). The Iraqi burger tastes fine, but the person who prepared the food for us added jalapeños to our order without giving as a note or saying anything. UPDATE: The owner of the food truck contacted me to fix the order since the person who works at her food truck is the one who messed up the order for us. I really appreciate what she did.

Absolutely loved my experience with Kubaya Food! The food was incredibly clean, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Every bite tasted homemade and authentic. The dolma, in particular, was super good — perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. You can really tell they care about quality. Highly recommend to anyone looking for tasty, wholesome meals!

We just dined at Kubaya, we were blown away by the authentic flavors and quality of the dishes. The menu offers a variety of traditional Iraqi cuisine that truly captures the rich, vibrant flavors of the region. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing a deep respect for cultural authenticity. The owner presence is creating a welcoming atmosphere which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional taste of Iraq!

Best beef shawarma in Austin, hands down (and I’ve tried many). The QUALITY of the meat cut, how fresh it is, obviously pre-marinated, cooked to perfect tenderness… WOW. Food takes a bit to make because it’s fresh to order and man, it’s worth the wait. I love seeing places that don’t cut corners. From the authentic Arabic spices to the cleanliness of the food truck… Kubaya screams QUALITY.

I was lucky to find this gem. Kubaya is an amazing spot for Middle Eastern and Iraqi food. In my first visit, I tried the lamb shank and it was amazing to say the least. The quality of meat and other ingredients is superb and the portions are generous. The price is very reasonable for the quality and the service was quick and friendly. I plan on visiting Kubaya again whenever I am in town. If you have not tried Kubaya, you are missing out!!
